In observance of Pakistan’s Defence Day, the CSC Empowerment and Inclusion Programme—under the framework of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) Interest-Free Loan (IFL) initiative—organized a Cheque Distribution Ceremony in Union Council Darhama, Dera Ghazi Khan.
The event brought together 38 participants, including community members and CSC staff, in a shared celebration of economic uplift and national pride. A total of PKR 1,200,000 was disbursed among 28 eligible beneficiaries, reinforcing the programme’s commitment to financial inclusion and grassroots economic empowerment.
In addition to the financial support, the event featured Defence Day tributes to honor the bravery and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. Attendees paid heartfelt respects, acknowledging the Armed Forces’ unwavering role in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and peace.
This meaningful occasion highlighted the CSC Empowerment and Inclusion Programme’s ongoing mission to build resilient, self-reliant communities, while also nurturing patriotism, unity, and sustainable development throughout Pakistan.
